Dansk Bilbrancheråd has signed a framework agreement with the IT company OMNICAR, which will assist with
digitalising the workshop sector.

“It is necessary to be able to work digitally to ensure the operational future of independent vehicle workshops, but
many workshops do not have digital solutions that are simple and easy for them to use,” says Erik S. Rasmussen,
Director of Dansk Bilbrancheråd, who welcomes the new cooperation:
“We can now refer to OMNICAR as a permanent partner when we advise our members on the digitalisation of their
businesses. It brings confidence to the sector in terms of service contracts and digital communications with
customers, and it also puts individual workshops at ease when they know that they can choose a reliable solution,”
says Erik S. Rasmussen.

“OMNICAR will help the almost 2,000 members of our trade association by offering customised service agreements
to the workshops’ customers through the SAM (Service Agreement Manager) software solution. It’s a solution that
links customers closely to the individual workshop,” explains Tom Due Andersen, Sales Director of OMNICAR, who
looks forward to working with Dansk Bilbrancheråd and its members:
“I am happy and proud that Dansk Bilbrancheråd has chosen to cooperate with OMNICAR. Our ambition is to help
the sector and the workshops to future-proof their businesses. We offer a digital tool that ensures long-lasting and
loyal customer relationships, and which also enables the workshops to keep their costs down and increase their
profits,” says Tom Due Andersen.

In Dansk Bilbrancheråd there are also great expectations for the cooperation, which is to commence on 1 May:
“I am convinced that a great many of our members will take advantage of SAM, and that cooperation in general
will give the industry a digital boost,” says Erik S. Rasmussen.
The collaboration includes an agreement on joint communication and marketing and permanent dialogue between
OMNICAR and Dansk Bilbrancheråd’s members through participation in local member meetings and conferences, in
addition to the offer to members to use OMNICAR’s SAM software.

The Dansk Bilbrancheråd trade organisation represents vehicle repair shops and car dealers in Denmark, and with
almost 2,000 workshop members, it is the sector’s largest special interest group. Dansk Bilbrancheråd works to
create the best framework conditions and offers various services to auto sector companies.
The IT company OMNICAR has developed a unique software solution called SAM (Service Agreement Manager) for
vehicle repair shops and car dealers. SAM is a digital tool that is designed to automatically manage future sales and
service agreements. SAM helps vehicle repair shops and car dealers to manage and sell far more service contracts
than before, using customised additional services and subscription-based services that follow each car throughout
its lifecycle.
